What a wonderful excursion we had on August 5th ! Students from Years 4-6 were invited to the State Theatre, to Studio Underground, to see the Barking Gecko production ‘Cicada’. This term the school did a whole school approach with our Talk 4 Writing. Making our hook for our stories to do with eggs! In our Pre-Primary/Year 1 class they organised for ‘U Can Hatch Us’ to come in and watch chicks hatch from their eggs. The kids have absolutely loved watching the chicks grow

The classes from Red Block celebrated ”100 Days of School” today. Everyone got to dress up as if they were 100 years old . The classes did a variety of fun activities involving the number 100. Last Friday North Balga hosted their first ever in-house winter carnival. Students were put into teams after practicing for the term and we spent the afternoon playing netball, football or soccer.
