What a wonderful excursion we had on August 5th ! Students from Years 4-6 were invited to the State Theatre, to Studio Underground, to see the Barking Gecko production ‘Cicada’. It was an amazing adaptation of Shaun Tan’s book. Please see the lovely feedback we received about our fantastic students and staff.

‘A huge thank you to everyone from North Balga Primary School who joined us for Cicada. We very much hope you all enjoyed the performance as much as we did to have you with us. It was very special for the Barking Gecko team to see how engaged your students (and their grownups!) were throughout the performance – we loved how connected the students were to Cicada, and to hear them share his journey (as well as some wonderful questions!).
